Lisa: I want to know first how you got involved
with Banzai! Entertainment Inc.
BayBay: Well I got involved with Banzai from my own
job, from where I work at. Donald Whittier the producer comes in
there to eat all the time, and ya know, I'm, always spontaneous
with what I do and I'm always making people laugh and trying to
be a good person. So he says he does films and would I like to be
in a film and I was like whoa yeah. Ya know and it just went from
there and he just told me he'd call me and he called me and it was
a project about a bulkhead, which I didn't know what a Bulkhead
was at the time. I mean I been on a big ship before but I didn't
know that a bulkhead is the safest place on the ship if there is
turmoil(?) or anything. I just thought bulkhead was another word
until I seen what the bulkhead is on a ship ya know it just made
things more clear. That's how I, just from my job, that's how I
got involved.
L: And had you done any acting in school or anything
like that?
B: Nah, but I can, I always did the acting in the
mirror. Ya know everybody can do the acting in the mirror. It was
like, ya know some people feel special about themselves. See, when
you love yourself, that's basically all you need. And I always felt
like I had the talent to do anything. Like I'm a great chef now.
I can cook you anything from breakfast to lunch to dinner.
L: So when Donald mentioned it, you didn't have any
hesitation. You just said sure. Let's do it?
B: No hesitation at all. It was like a dream come
true almost.
L: That's cool. That's cool. You got discovered in
a soda shop.
B: Yeah. Yeah.
